Thanks again Steve. I do enjoy your valiant attempts to trigger some responses from an unusually quiet subsea community, seemingly in the doldrums. I too was intrigued by the Skai H2 innovation (incidentally, I made it even safer at 6 rotors 🙂 ) and I hope we hear a lot more positive vibes on that before long, to give a much-needed credibility boost.
My main thanks just now though are for highlighting the news about Brian Skeels’ latest weel-deserved recognition, alongside Tyler’s, by ASME at the 50th OTC last month. I mentioned in my response to your May 1st OTC blog that I had been fortunate enough to participate at the 2018 OTC Distinguished Achievement Award luncheon for Brian. He really has been truly such an inspiration to so many of us over the decades. Well done again Brian – and well done Steve! Cheers, as I drink to that.
